I had just come from shopping at the Strand, elated I had found an autographed copy of Annie Leibowitz's photography book, "Women". I was walking south on Broadway when out stepped U2's Bono from a building. As he crossed the threshold he said to his people, "Let's go save the world." I then asked if I could take his picture, to which he kindly obliged.
